Fees are an em dash. FD3 was reversed on 8 Oct 2026: this site does not read DefiLlama hyperliquid fees, and no first-party fee source is approved. Buybacks are the Assistance Fund tape.
Hyperliquid says Assistance Fund HYPE holdings are burned.
This site verifies the Assistance Fund spot balance and, when the tape is complete, spot buys on HYPE/USDC.
It cannot treat the tokenDetails supply gap as that balance, it does not include Assistance Fund 2, and it does not show a DefiLlama fee total.
Trading fees are converted to HYPE by the Assistance Fund as part of Hyperliquid L1 execution. The HYPE balance at that address is the classified burn. This is not an EVM Transfer to the dead address, and it is not the PONS ledger.
HYPE in the assistance fund is burned, removing the tokens permanently from the circulating and total supply.
That Fees sentence is the classification. This page still prints tokenDetails on its own meter. The max−total gap is not the Assistance Fund balance.
